Utilizing CUBIC techniques to whole-kidney imaging

In this paper, the CUBIC technique is utilized to clear mouse kidneys and perform 3D imaging. The researchers successfully observed kidney structures such as blood vessels, proximal tubules, collecting ducts, glomeruli, and renal sympathetic nerves at the single-cell level. This study specifically visualized the changes in renal sympathetic nerves following ischemia-reperfusion injury and glomerular hypertrophy at the early stages of diabetic nephropathy in detail.
